Global Health Forum 2014

August 20, 2014

A partner in Encounter-A Network of Networks and serving as an ambassador organization for the LA World’s Fair, (LAWF), the IGM Art Gallery’s 2014 Global Health Forum brought together public, private, nonprofit, faith-based, academic and media leaders from across LA County. The forum was an open minded, deliberative discussion on complex social issues that interface with the creative process and findings of research in molecular biology, health and social systems. The Forum’s goal was to develop, in measured steps over the next eight years, the strategic and healthy working relationships necessary  to host a visionary LA World’s Fair opening in 2022 and continuing through 2024.  A click on the top photo to the right will enlarge the photo, give you a caption and a click on the arrow on right of slide start the slide show through the other photos

The goal of the LAWF Ambassador Outreach campaign is to generate word-of-mouth excitement for LAWF and to raise funds that will allow us to build “Pavilion Zero.” The Pavilion will act as the headquarters and the event center for LAWF, providing a dedicated venue for meetings, conferences, presentations, and events throughout the development and implementation of the entire Los Angeles World’s Fair. Pavilion Zero is LAWF’s epicenter for the Project X of international expositions. While promoting technology, health and culture, this world’s fair is all about connectivity. Los Angeles County stretches across 88 cities, and for the first time ever, all of them will come together via transit-oriented structural innovation and unprecedented distribution of fairgrounds located near major Metro stations.  All for one and one for all; a connected city is a healthy city.

An example of but one of the organizations attending the Global Health Forum, Global Business Incubation, was documented  by the IGM Art Gallery Documentary Committee. CLICK HERE FOR LINK to this short video on business development model.
